1. Acceptance of these Terms
By using our website, creating an account, purchasing a course, accessing course content, downloading materials or requesting a certificate, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our website or services.
These Terms apply together with our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and any course-specific terms shown at checkout.
2. About Occupational Safety Academy
Occupational Safety Academy provides online training content focused on occupational safety, workplace health and safety awareness, compliance-related learning and professional development.
Unless clearly stated on a specific course page, our courses are not a substitute for:
-
Site-specific workplace training
-
Employer risk assessments
-
Legal advice
-
Professional health and safety consultancy
-
Government-mandated training
-
Practical supervised workplace instruction
-
Licensing, permits or regulatory approval
Learners and employers are responsible for checking whether a course meets their local, state, national, industry, employer or regulator requirements.
3. No government affiliation
Occupational Safety Academy is a private online training provider. We are not a government agency. Use of terms such as “occupational safety” or “safety training” does not mean that we are affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by or operated by OSHA or any other government authority, unless this is expressly stated in writing on the relevant course page.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a course. Learners under 18 may only use our services with consent and supervision from a parent, guardian, school, employer or authorised organisation.
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
5. Account registration
You may need to create an account to access courses. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login details secure.
You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must not share your login details, sell access, transfer your account or allow unauthorised users to access course materials.
6. Course access
After successful payment, course access is normally provided through your online learner account or by email. Access may be immediate or may require account verification.
Unless stated otherwise, course access is for personal learning only. Corporate, team or bulk access must be purchased under the correct licence or business agreement.
We may update, replace, remove or improve course content where needed to maintain quality, accuracy, compliance or technical performance.
7. Course content and learning outcomes
We aim to provide accurate, useful and up-to-date course materials. However, laws, regulations, standards and workplace practices can change. Course content is provided for educational purposes only.
You must not rely on course content as the only basis for making health, safety, legal, regulatory or operational decisions. Always check current laws, official guidance, employer procedures and competent professional advice where needed.
8. Assessments and certificates
Some courses may include quizzes, assignments, assessments or completion checks. Certificates may be issued when the required course conditions are met.
A certificate confirms course completion according to our course rules. It does not automatically confirm legal competence, workplace authorisation, professional licensing or regulatory approval unless this is clearly stated on the course page.
We may refuse, suspend, withdraw or correct a certificate if we reasonably believe there has been fraud, identity misuse, plagiarism, cheating, payment dispute, technical misuse, malpractice or administrative error.
9. Learner conduct
You agree not to:
-
Use false identity details
-
Copy, sell, share or distribute course materials
-
Attempt to bypass payment or access controls

Upload harmful code or malware
-
Harass staff, tutors, learners or support agents
-
Use our website for illegal, unsafe or misleading purposes
-
Submit plagiarised, fraudulent or dishonest assessment work
-
Misrepresent your certificate, qualification or learning outcome
We may suspend or terminate access where these rules are breached.
10. Payments, prices and taxes
Course prices are shown at checkout. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect an order already accepted.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes, currency conversion fees, bank fees, import duties, customs charges or third-party payment charges.
We may use third-party payment processors. We do not store full card details on our own systems.
11. Discount codes and promotions
Discounts, offers and promotional codes may be limited by time, course, location, learner type or other conditions. We may amend, withdraw or refuse a promotion where it is used incorrectly, fraudulently or outside its stated terms.
12. Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Return & Refund Policy. Because our products are digital, refunds may be limited once course access has been used, content has been consumed, assessments have been attempted or a certificate has been issued.
Nothing in our refund policy limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Shipping
Most products are digital and do not require physical shipping. Where printed certificates, documents or materials are ordered, delivery is handled under our Shipping Policy.
14. Intellectual property
All course materials, videos, text, designs, downloads, images, graphics, quizzes, certificates, website content, logos and branding are owned by Skill Up LLC, Occupational Safety Academy or our licensors.
You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the materials for your own learning. You must not copy, reproduce, resell, publish, upload, share, translate, adapt or distribute our materials without written permission.
15. User content
If you submit reviews, feedback, assignments, comments, questions or other content, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
You allow us to use learner feedback and reviews for service improvement and marketing, unless you ask us not to use your identifiable details.
